At the center of our community is Harbor Isle Lake. The lake is actually a retention pond, and it receives all of our storm water runoff.
Keep our lake healthy
- Reclaimed water is used throughout the community to supply sprinkler systems. Reclaimed water contains some nutrients that will help with landscape fertilization, however over-watering can cause the reclaimed water to enter the lake via storm drains and negatively impact water quality. Recent status
- City of St. Pete has temporarily installed ultrasound devices (Pulsar 4400) on a 90 day trial basis beginning 3/4/24 for algae control in the lake. More info here
