IT’S TIME AGAIN FOR THE ANNUAL HARBOR ISLE PROGRESSIVE DINNER

It’s that time of the year again to sign up for our annual progressive dinner. This is always a great evening of meeting new neighbors, spending time with friends, and enjoying a great time with great food. Those of us who attend this each year really look forward to it, and for you who have never attended before – join us this year for a wonderful, fun event.
The way this event works is easy. You just sign up to host one course at your home; either appetizers, soup and/or salad, or the main course. You will have six to eight neighbors at your home for your course, which you will prepare, then for the other courses you will go to someone else’s home. The group attending is divided up into groups of 6 to 8 people, and for each course the group is shuffled up so you are with a new group each time. We will have several people hosting each course so that no one has to host more than 6 to eight additional people in their homes. For the final course of desserts, we will gather at Harvey and Kathleen Ford’s home, and those couples who aren’t able to host in their homes will prepare the desserts and deliver them to the dessert location.
Please register online or call Sherry Smith (527-5468) by Thursday, February 15 to sign up for the event. You can request a particular course to host, or let us assign you to a course. You can sign up as a couple, or by yourself. Please also let us know if you have any specific dietary restrictions, as we always have several hosts who are willing to make accommodations for this.
After all the RSVP’s are in, assignments will be worked out along with specific instructions for each participant as to where you will be for each course, and who will be in your home during your hosted course. This should go out Friday, February 16.
